Worship Services

At the heart of First United Methodist Church is the opportunity for spiritual renewal every Sunday morning.  In two worship formats, the people of FUMC seek to offer praise to God and our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

· 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service

The 9:00 Sunday service is a more casual worship experience designed to appeal to a less-structured congregation. The contemporary service replaces much of the traditional liturgy with contemporary Christian music and prayer time.

· 11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service

The 11:00 service has a traditional structure using formal prayers, hymns, and choral music to expand upon the scriptural foundation delivered during the sermon.

· Children And Worship

The Children and Worship session provides an opportunity for adult leaders to use storytelling, singing, and art to make worship an experience that is accessible and meaningful to children.  Children ages 4-9 will be dismissed from the sanctuary after about 15 minutes and guided to the center by the Children And Worship leaders. 

Nursery care is provided during all services.
