Serve With Us
Serve @ First
There are many ways to serve at First UMC. Through worship, you are invited to join the choir, serve as a greeter or usher, and serve as a liturgist reading scriptures. Other roles are needed each Sunday also.
You can serve as a Sunday school leaders for children or adults classes or help to facilitate a weekly small group.
First UMC has a number of ministry teams/committee for those wishing to serve in those roles.
Serve @ The Food Pantry
You may have seen our yellow food pantry truck around town. From our food distribution on the first Friday of the month to food deliveries, our team stays busy. Food pantry volunteers are also needed other times during the month for setup and packing boxes.
Serve in the Community
First UMC is called to serve our neighbors and share the love of Jesus Christ through our actions. We have many ministries that are actively engaged with our neighbors. From our Love BG Community Meals to our Crim School partnership, we have opportunities for you.
